Capas, aka Phil Wilkins, is a multi-instrumentalist and producer based in Worcester, focusing on electronic and live recordings to create a cinematic sound.
Ìý
Taken from many years of listenings to influential artists/experiences, Capas takes inspiration from electronica, dub, trip hop, acid jazz and nu-jazz.

His record collection includes artists such as Bonobo, Quantic (from Bewdley), Electric Light Orchestra and Massive Attack.

Troy and the team behind TroyFest have created a new festival called TrueFest! Once again, this is taking place at Baskerville Hall near Hay-on-Wye.

It’s being billed as the ‘ultimate house party’ with more than 65 acts, 5 stages, a sauna, swimming pool and real toilets!

Set in a beautiful location overlooking the Wye Valley, the organisers promise three days of DJs, bands, theatre, comedy, burlesque, cinema and AV shows with the party then heading indoors until dawn!

Three talented 11-year-olds, who formed their own rock band, have played the biggest day of their fledgling careers by opening the Drunken Monkey Festival in Upton.

The trio had never even been to a festival before, but opened the 'Tower Stage' last night.

Dagan and Max, from Pershore, and Thea, from Evesham, form the rock band PiggyDooDar.Ìý

Willow Robinson began his professional career in Los Angeles, playing with one of his good friends in the duo Bohemian Sun.

He's toured the USA twice, as well as playing at SXSW, with the band Lime Cordiale.
Ìý
Since returning from LA, Willow begun performing and recording as a solo act around his home town of Hay-on-Wye and playing a variety of gigs in London and across the UK.

He's recently finished a UK tour with Jesus & Mary Chain - and his manager is Alan McGee, the man behind Oasis, Primal Scream and The Libertines.

If you're aged between 8 and 18, you've probably heard of The Worcester School Of Rock & Performance - a music course whichÌýguaranteesÌýyou a gig at the end of it!

Well, following a Facebook post from someone that said "but what about older people!", Jez Cole and the team have set up "You're Never Too Old To Rock" - aimed at those over 40.

All of next week, they'll be starting their summer school is going to be taking place - but they're also holding regular Saturday events at Bishop Perowne college in Worcester.

Billed as 'the world's finest choral music', this year's Three Choirs Festival has taken place in Worcester.

It's believed to the be the longest running music festival in Europe, at 302-years-old, and rotates between the three cathedral cities of Gloucester, Worcester and Hereford.

This year, they've hosted 74 events across eight days and even Prince Charles showed up for one of the gigs!

She's influenced by Amy Winehouse, Joss Stone, Duffy, Corinne Bailey Rae, Adele and Lana Del Rey.

Lakefest returns to Eastnor Deer Park in August this year and will be guaranteed to be even bigger and better than ever.

Headliners include Wilko Johnson, Aswad, The Charlatans, Badly Drawn Boy, Feeder, Imelda May, Rozalla and Seth Lakeman.

±«Óãtv Hereford & Worcester will also have a stage at the festival for the three days, showcasing local talent from Herefordshire & Worcestershire.
