Pro-ject began two years ago when Jay and his friends bought a succession of warehouses and are now hosting nights in a car wash at Foundry Street, just off City Walls Road.

Paul Farrer might not be a name you're familiar with, but you'll certainly be familiar with his work - having composed the music to The Weakest Link, Dancing On Ice and The Chase.

More recently he's been downsizing his West Malvern studio, enabling him to work from anywhere - a move that has also helped him replace synthesisers for real instruments; he's recently started conducting large orchestras!

So, just how do you find songwriting inspiration when your job depends on it - and how do you go about recording those instruments to showcase to the world? We'll find out as we break down some of those themes, which are so instilled into our minds, over these coming weeks.

Since the beginning of 2011, we've taken our 鲍鱼tv Introducing show out on-the-road to various areas across our patch to bring people a flavour of the local music scene.
听
Every month, we rock up at a different venue with a pile of microphones, cables and recording equipment along with several vans full of enthusiastic musicians!
听
As well as the bands being able to invite an audience, we also bring along a number of music industry professionals to comment on the live acts.
听
We tend to host our sessions on evenings/weekends is because it's normally a quiet time for venues - so effectively you get a free gig curated with the best bands (from the thousands who have submitted their music to us), full tech provided, plus听听- so effectively you just need to open your doors!
听
