The team behind the productions formed nearly 100 years ago at the Corn Exchange, which burned down in 1939.
Ìý
They then moved to The Roxy Theatre, which closed, and in 1982 moved to their present location at the top of the town.
Ìý
They extended the facility 20 years later and now host events almost every weekend.
The Bromsgrove Festival
The line-up has just been
announced for this year's Bromsgrove Festival, which incorporates everything
from burlesque dancing to live music in Sander's Park.
Ìý
The event, which began in 1960 as a classical and jazz showcase, was
nationallyÌýrenownedÌýfor more than two decades.
Ìý
They eventually started hosting the International Young Musicians concert and
nearly went bust a couple of years back as audiences dwindled.
Ìý
But a new team of volunteers got together in 2014 taking the programme of less
than 10 events, widening to scope to incorporate more than 70.
Ìý
This year, they'll be hosting a Summer Jam In The Park and they're hoping to
increase last year's 8,500 attendees to more than 10,000 by expanding the
festival to Tardebigge, Rubery, Alvechurch, Barnt Green and Hagley.
