Proposals for ±«Óãtv World Service Expansion

What impact could suggested proposals for new television and radio services in Russia, North Korea and the Middle East have for you?

Earlier this week the Director General of the ±«Óãtv, Tony Hall, laid out his new vision for the corporation as a whole. His focus for the future of the ±«Óãtv World Service suggests prioritising investment and expansion into new territories. The plans include a satellite television service for Russian speakers, a daily radio news programme for North Korea, more localised content for Arabic speakers and extended digital services for India and Nigeria.
