Kent's farming industry says the balance of power in the food chain has got to change if the sector is to survive. The county's farmers say producers not supermarkets should be setting the price of fruit and vegetables, and they want better access to funding to help grow the industry more quickly.

A retired Kent businessman who was extradited to the United States on arms dealing charges will appear in court next week to change his plea to guilty as part of a deal with prosecutors.

Christopher Tappin from Orpington was flown to the US in February after fighting extradition for two years (06:12, 07:12 and 08:07).

We will ask Christopher Tappin's UK lawyer, what deal has been done.
