鲍鱼tv Radio Kent can reveal this morning the scale of the problem of looked after children being placed into care in the county by councils in London. Guidelines say local authorities should not place children more than 20 miles from their home. Now Kent County Council is calling on the government to bring in legislation to put a stop to the practice once and for all (06:07, 07:07 and 08:07).

A Kent health trust's been accused of taking patients off operation waiting lists, and telling them they no longer need surgery, even though they are still suffering from painful conditions.

The practice is being condemned by the Royal College of Surgeons, but the Health Trust says the decision was made because of clinical considerations, and not to save money (06:22, 07:22 and 08:22).

It was an audacious theft where thieves paid their entry to a Kent museum and stole and extremely valuable exhibit, a rhino horn, in broad daylight.

What they did not realise was that staff at the Powell-Cotton Museum Quex Park in Birchington were one step ahead of them and following a recent theft of another rhino horn they had replaced theirs with a fake.

Rhino Horn is a much sought after material in parts of Asia for use in traditional medicine and depending on its size and quality, a horn can be worth between 拢22,000 and 拢175,000 (07:48 and 08:48).
