A cover-up, that is what the leader of the opposition claims has happened at Kent County Council.

Trudy Dean says the failings at Kent County Council's social services department has been going on much longer than previously thought.

Trudy's claims come on the day the watchdog OFSTED says there has been significant improvements in the department, but Trudy is calling for an independent inquiry.

Metal thefts are causing delays and disruption for rail passengers and it's cost the industry £43m in three years.
