The Solent is famous for its rich maritime heritage and the H2O Show covers all aspects of life on the water - leisure, business and sport. Whether you're a sailing professional or just like watching the boats go by on the Solent, the programme will have something to appeal to you.

Ahead of the start of National Windsurfing Week, a windsurfing instructor from Poole tells us how easy it is to get on the water.

Shelley gets a sneak preview at the Hovercraft Museum ahead of their open weekend and Tracey Clarke reports live from the Jersey Boat Show.

Our series leading up to the 80th anniversary of the Round the Island Race continues with triple Olympic champion Ben Ainslie talking about his love of the race.

Also, Weymouth Angling Society look ahead to their ladies’ open fishing competition and Lymington Sailability apply for a grant from the Community Chest. We find out what they need the money for and how much they received.

Holland One was the Royal Navy's first submarine. Originally deemed 'underhand, unfair and damned un-English', she is now regarded as one of the UK's engineering greats. On Wednesday, she will receive a prestigious Engineering Heritage Award from the Institution of Mechanical Engineers. Sir Robin speaks to the curator of the Royal Navy Submarine Museum Gosport about her legacy.

Plus the detailed weekend sailing forecast.

The H2O Show is also available as a podcast and you can get news and features from the programme on Facebook.
