What is the future for mortgage holders?

For many of homeowners, our monthly mortgage repayments are our biggest and most important spend. Over the past 2 years millions of us have seen those payments plummet as the Bank of England cut interest rates and held them at a record low.

It’s put an unexpected bonus in the hands of many, and bailed out many more who were over stretched when the recession hit.

But these record low interest rates won’t go on forever and some experts predict they could start rising as early as the end of this year.
