After Kakhovka

Following the destruction of the Kakhovka Dam in Russian-occupied southern Ukraine in June, the ±«Óãtv World Service returns to Kakhovka to hear from those affected.

The destruction of the strategic Kakhovka Dam in Russian-occupied southern Ukraine in June unleashed a devastating flood and displaced thousands of people. The dam held back the water of one of the world's largest reservoirs, which for decades had been vital for irrigating farmland. Its destruction has put global food supplies for millions at risk and damaged a fragile ecostructure.

In this film, the ±«Óãtv World Service returns to Kakhovka to hear exclusively from those affected both on the Ukrainian and Russian-occupied banks of the Dnipro River, an area still with limited access to rescue and aid.
