First broadcast in 2022. An intimate portrait of snooker legend Ray Reardon as he reflects on the highs and lows of a remarkable career, and relives some of his biggest sporting moments.

Filmed at the St Annes Snooker Club in Torquay, where Ray still plays every day, we meet the man who is still top of his game at the age of almost 90.

He reminiscences on a career that began as a miner, then a policeman and ultimately a professional snooker player who would go on to win the Masters. Ray relishes talking about what it was like to be one of the biggest celebrities of his generation in the 70s and 80s, with appearances on countless TV shows that were watched by tens of millions.

In one of the most moving moments of the film, Ray is reunited, via videocall, with his old protégé Ronnie O'Sullivan. Ronnie tells Ray that, without his personal mentorship, he would never have become one of the most successful players in the history of the sport. The close bond between the pair is clearly evident, and both relish the opportunity to see each other and relive old times.
