Many Russians with special needs live with up to 1,000 others in huge care homes, cut off from the outside world. Nina is 27 and has spent most of her life in a care home in Moscow. Now, following the impact of Covid-19 restrictions, Arina, a charity volunteer, has invited Nina to live with her. This is the story of their friendship and Nina's search for independence.
