Ben and Kate find out what happens when a silverback gorilla has his authority threatened and meet a new pancake tortoise. Jean falls for a fennec fox who's looking for a partner.

Silverback Kesho is having his authority tested by a younger gorilla who seems to want to be leader of the pack. Kate finds out how this bolshie behaviour is threatening the cohesion of the whole gorilla group.

Ben meets one of the park’s newest arrivals, an endangered pancake tortoise. With three other eggs in the incubator, the keepers are keeping their fingers crossed there will be more soon.

Why would you hide a cod liver oil capsule inside a dead mouse? Jean Johansson finds out at feeding time for a bachelor fennec fox who’s looking for a soul mate.
