The Beautiful Game: Street Soccer Scotland and the ±«Óătvless World Cup

Scotland did not qualify for the Russia World Cup but have won the ±«Óătvless World Cup twice. Ahead of the 2018 tournament, we met players and volunteers of Street Soccer Scotland.

Scotland may not have qualified for the FIFA world cup but they’ve won the ±«Óătvless Word Cup twice. Ahead of the 2018 tournament in Mexico City in November, Edi Stark meets players and volunteers of Street Soccer Scotland.
She discovers one of football’s greatest tackles is to make positive change for men and women facing challenges of homelessness, addiction, mental health problems and isolation.
In this feel good tale of the magic of the beautiful game, Edi is on the pitch as men and women reveal to her the challenges faced and how the goal of no longer feeling helpless and hopeless can be achieved by kicking a ball.
