Each week, songs are played connected to members of 'The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame'. We hear 'Strange Fruit' by Billie Holiday to mark the induction of record producer Milt Gabler. We also feature 'Sledgehammer' by fellow Hall of Fame member Peter Gabriel. In 'A Matter Of Life And Death', we celebrate the birthday on this date in 1968 of Meshell Ndegeocello by featuring her duet with John Mellencamp on Van Morrison's 'Wild Night'. Paul pays tribute to country star Lynn Anderson, who has recently died, by playing her biggest hit 'Rose Garden'.

As part of Radio 2's Bank Holiday weekend focus on The Beatles and Elvis Presley, several of our regular features include songs by those artists. 'It's Not The Same Old Song' highlights 'I'll Be Back' by The Beatles and a different song with the same title by Elvis Presley. 'The Other Number Ones' are records that reached the top of the American chart in 'Cash Box' magazine, but not in the 'Billboard' Hot 100. This week's examples are by The Beatles ('Twist And Shout') and Elvis ('In The Ghetto'). In the feature called 'Beyond The Sea', Paul plays tracks from the biggest selling albums by UK artists in America. Tonight, we hear Joe Cocker covering The Beatles and UB40's successful interpretation of an Elvis hit.

Our R&B number ones are from 1957 and now by Elvis Presley and The Weeknd. We hear Country number ones from 2011 and this week by The Band Perry and Sam Hunt. Our featured past and present Rock number ones are by John Waite and Fall Out Boy. The number one album is 'Kill The Lights' by Luke Bryan and the best-selling digital song of the week is 'Can't Feel My Face' by The Weeknd.
