Christmas Classics

Jamie MacDougall joins the ±«Óãtv SSO and conductor Stephen Bell for a festive jamboree, delivering a sleigh-full of jolly Christmas tunes specially recorded in Aberdeen's Music Hall.

Classics Unwrapped's Jamie MacDougall joins the ±«Óãtv SSO and conductor Stephen Bell for a festive jamboree.

Alongside favourite carols, While Shepherds Watched and In The Bleak Midwinter, the orchestra will take to the stage of the Aberdeen Music Hall, under the baton of renowned conductor Stephen Bell (Proms in the Park, Music Nation), to perform a cracker-load of crotchets and quavers: orchestral gems such as Leroy Anderson's Christmas Festival and Malcolm Arnold's The Holly and the Ivy.

Jamie himself will be showcasing his fine tenor voice as he serenades you with seasonal hits like White Christmas. Delivering a sleigh-full of wintry classics and festive tunes, it's the perfect musical accompaniment for your Christmas Lunch.
