Car firm Nissan has announced it is creating 50 new jobs at its Sunderland plant.

The company, which already employs about 6,500 staff, has launched a recruitment drive for engineers and maintenance staff.

It said it needed extra workers to work on Nissan's luxury car division Infiniti.
