In this one hour special to mark the 70th birthday of Smokey Robinson, broadcaster Johnnie Walker talks to the Motown legend about his life, his career and the story behind some of his incredible songs.
Johnnie caught up with Smokey Robinson backstage at the Ivor Novello Awards, shortly after he'd been presented with an award for a Lifetime Achievement to music last year.

The result was an in-depth and intimate conversation with Smokey talking openly about his career, personal life, his prolific songwriting, becoming an anti-drugs spokesperson and the story behind some of his self-penned hits, including "Cruisin'" and "Tears of A Clown".
