A bleak, Kafkaesque drama based upon an actual New York court case involving a man who is mistakenly arrested for robbery and has to prove his innocence.

Heavily in debt, a bass player at a club tries to borrow money against his wife's life insurance policy. But, in a cruel twist of fate, his trip to the broker ends up with his being wrongly identified as someone who had previously robbed the office.
