The Queen's Heid

Historical documentary examining Edinburgh publican and idealist Lachie Marr's attempt to transform his tavern, The Queen's Heid, into the capital's hottest night spot.

In 1560, when Mary Queen of Scots returned from France to rule Scotland, Edinburgh publican and idealist Lachie Marr attempted to capitalise by transforming his tavern, The Queen's Heid, into the capital's hottest night spot.

Unfortunately he hadn't quite remembered the crabbit nature of the Scots.
