Powerful drama about a 19th-century English aristocrat, Lord John Morgan, who is captured by the Sioux and integrated into their culture. After taking him captive, the Native Americans decide that he has value and choose to keep him alive, but subject him to torture and humiliation. Finally, to gain recognition as a chief, he elects to undergo the savage Sun Vow ritual.
