Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall

Specialist skills:

Hugh is one of the UK’s greatest champions for healthy seas. His career has taken him around the world to witness first hand the challenges for marine life. He’ll be meeting some people looking to change all of that in the UK, as well as revealing how Monterey Bay has bounced back in .

Richard Taylor-Jones

Specialist skills:

Richard is an expert wildlife film maker, with an in-depth knowledge of British Wildlife. He has probably shot as many hours of Briitsh Natural History TV as any other cameraman. He will be taking a look at some of his favourite UK coastal wildlife stories this summer.

Background:

Richard has a zoology degree with wildlife photography from Nottingham University and spent the last 20 years making natural history TV. He has travelled the globe filming but his biggest achievement has been promoting the astonishing diversity of flora and fauna we have in the UK. He lives on the coast in Kent where he grew up and appears on Springwatch, , and using his cameras to help reveal not only the beauty of the natural world but its behaviour too.

Lindsey Chapman

Specialist skills:

Lindsey is in her element outdoors and loves exploring the ways in which we all connect to the natural world. She grew up in rural East Yorkshire and has an innate interest in the countryside and the sea. She’ll be delving into extraordinary stories of marine life around the UK and the people who conserve it.

Background:

Lindsey is a presenter for and the roving reporter for and . She loves working with children and young people and as a television and radio presenter has worked across wildlife, sport, children’s and travel.

You may not know...

Lindsey carried the Olympic Torch through her home town of Beverley as part of London 2012. She is a keen sportswoman and an enthusiastic netball player!
