That Mitchell And Webb Look returns for third series


BAFTA-award winning comedy That Mitchell And Webb Look has been recommissioned for a third series.

The second series of the show starring David Mitchell and Robert Webb recently aired on ±«Óãtv Two, reaching audiences of up to 1.7m (7.3% share).

Ìý

Described as "easily the funniest sketch series around" (Daily Telegraph) and "an unrelenting pleasure" (Guardian Guide), the critically-acclaimed series has seen the return of a number of well-loved characters and sketches from series one, including Sir Digby Chicken Caesar and Numberwang, along with a raft of new ones.

The off-the-wall sketch show started out on ±«Óãtv Radio 4 as That Mitchell And Webb Sound before moving to ±«Óãtv Two.

David Mitchell and Robert Webb said: "We're very excited about getting to work on the new series of That Mitchell And Webb Look, not least because it affords the opportunity of coming up with this sort of quote.

"We're hugely relieved to hear that we're still not going to have to get proper jobs as we both got 2:2s and one of us can't even drive."

The 6 x 30 minutes series was commissioned by Lucy Lumsden, Controller of Comedy Commissioning, and Roly Keating, Controller of ±«Óãtv Two.

That Mitchell And Webb Look is a ±«Óãtv Vision Production.

Ìý

The producer is Gareth Edwards, Executive Producer is Kenton Allen, ±«Óãtv Creative Head of Comedy Talent and Comedy North, and director is David Kerr.
