Alongside Andrew, an expert panel of critics will help the viewers choose their Joseph; Denise Van Outen, John Barrowman, Bill Kenwright and Zoe Tyler will bring their expertise in theatre, music, acting and singing to offer their criticism and advice to our finalists to help the viewers choose who they think should win the role.

Denise Van Outen – the leading lady
Ìý
Denise Van Outen is one of Britain's foremost TV presenters and stage actresses. She was born in Basildon, Essex, and attended the prestigious Sylvia Young Theatre School.

As a youngster, she appeared in the chorus of Les Misérables and, in her teenage years, had brief roles on a number of television dramas including Kappatoo.

Denise joined The Big Breakfast on Channel 4 as a weather and travel reporter in 1995, and landed the main co–presenting role in 1997. It proved to be her big breakthrough, with her famous chemistry with Johnny Vaughan taking audience figures to record levels.

She first played Roxie Hart in Chicago at London's Adelphi Theatre in April 2001. Despite being unknown in the United States, Denise reprised her role on Broadway for five weeks in the Spring of 2002, to ecstatic reviews. She returned to the London version of the show in April 2002.

In 2003, she returned to the London stage in Andrew Lloyd Webber's one-woman show, Tell Me On A Sunday, at the Gielgud Theatre, in a role that was specially rewritten for her. She was a huge success and the show ran for nearly a year before embarking on a 10-month UK tour in 2004.

Denise has also co-presented ITV1's This Morning, been a lead character in ITV drama Where The Heart Is and hosted Channel 4's The Friday Night Project. She has also appeared in several films, including the role of Maureen in the crime comedy Love, Honour And Obey.

John Barrowman – the leading man
Ìý
John has become a household name in recent months following his role as Captain Jack in ±«Óãtv One's Doctor Who and its hugely successful spin off Torchwood. However TV is just one side to John's acting talent as he has been a stalwart leading actor in musical theatre throughout his long and busy career.
Ìý
Born in Glasgow, but raised in Illinois, John initially returned to the UK to study drama but a career as a leading man in musical theatre accidentally got in the way.

His big break came when he starred opposite Elaine Paige in Cole Porter's Anything Goes. Since his stage debut he has appeared in almost every major musical of the last 30 years including Miss Saigon, Chicago, Beauty And The Beast, Sunset Boulevard, Stephen Sondheim's Company, Evita, Hair and The Phantom Of The Opera to name just a few.

His experience as a leading man on the stage gives him perfect insight into what someone will need to bring to the role of Joseph. By his own admission John is "tough but generous" as a leading man and with his vast experience of leading roles across many shows he will be trying to bring out the leading man in the ten Josephs.

Zoe Tyler – the vocal coach
Ìý
Zoe Tyler is one of musical theatre's most highly respected vocal coaches and appeared on last year's How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria?

Zoe began her work in the West End at the age of 20 when she appeared in Les Miserables. She then went on tour with Jesus Christ Superstar, before being part of the jazz singing quartet in the award-winning City Of Angels.

After playing the role of narrator in Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Zoe took a break from West End musicals to travel to South Africa and Taiwan, singing songs from the shows.

This was followed by a tour of Hong Kong and Dubai. After a couple of years touring the world, Zoe returned to the West End in the long–running musical Fame as the dance teacher.

As a recording artiste, Zoe has sung on numerous West End albums, and also those of Michael Ball and Sir Cliff Richard. Zoe has sung live as a pop backing singer with Sir Elton John, Barry Manilow and Donna Summer at Elton John's White Tie and Tiara ball.

As well as being an accomplished singer, Zoe has filmed a ±«Óãtv play with Robson Green, appeared in Doctors and a Welsh costume drama called Treflan.

She now spends most of her time as a vocal coach coaching young pop singers, and has pupils in numerous West End shows. Zoe is also a seasoned soloist with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

As the Joseph's vocal coach, Zoe will be working week-by-week with the finalists to prepare them for their live performances each Saturday night and act as Andrew's right hand woman to advise who is making the grade and who should get chucked in the pit.

Bill Kenwright – the theatre producer
Ìý
Impressario Bill Kenwright is one of the most powerful figures in the UK theatre industry. His most recent production is Treats, starring Billie Piper, Kris Marshall and Laurence Fox, and last year he also produced the London revival of Cabaret at the Lyric Theatre starring Anna Maxwell Martin, James Dreyfus and Sheila Hancock.

Other productions have included West End runs of Whistle Down The Wind, Festen, The Big Life, Elmina's Kitchen, Scrooge – The Musical, The Night Of The Iguana, A Few Good Men, A Man For All Seasons alongside UK tours of Jesus Christ Superstar, Tommy, Whistle Down The Wind, Tell Me On A Sunday, Scrooge – The Musical and This Is Elvis.

He has also co-produced several films including The Day After The Fair, Stepping Out (director Lewis Gilbert starring Liza Minnelli) and Don't Go Breaking My Heart (starring Anthony Edwards, Jenny Seagrove and Charles Dance).

Die Mommie Die (written by and starring Charles Busch) won an award at the Sundance Film Festival. He also co-produced the phenomenally successful national arena tour of Elvis – The Concert with Elvis Presley Enterprises.

He was nominated for a London Theatre Critics' Best Director award for West Side Story at the Shaftesbury Theatre and a Tony award for Blood Brothers in New York.

He has also received an Honorary Fellowship from Liverpool's John Moore's University and is an honorary Professor of Thames Valley University in London.

Other awards include a CBE for his services to film and theatre and the Variety Club Bernard Delfont award for contribution to the entertainment industry.

In 2004 he became Chairman of Everton, the football club he has supported all his life.
