Cable theft cuts East Yorkshire village's phone service
More than 100 people in an East Yorkshire village are facing over a week without phone lines and the internet after metal thieves stole half a mile of cable.
BT customers living in Tickton near Beverley lost their connection after the theft at the weekend.
The company said restoration was a priority but the repairs could take another four days to complete.
