Award-winning singer and star of the west end Alfie Boe joins a stellar musical line-up for this year’s Scottish celebrations of ±«Óãtv Proms In The Park when the spectacular outdoor music event returns to Glasgow Green next month, on Saturday 7 September 2013.

He will join singing sensation Melanie C as the former Spice Girl-turned-musical-leading-lady also takes part in the iconic open-air concert alongside a myriad of musicians including the ±«Óãtv Scottish Symphony Orchestra, Scottish fiddler John McCusker, Scot soprano Kate Valentine and tenor Nicky Spence, amongst others.

Presented by Jamie MacDougall and Susan Calman, this year’s Scottish Proms In The Park will also feature music and imagery from Hebrides: Islands on the Edge, ±«Óãtv Scotland’s acclaimed landmark natural history series, performed by the Scotish Symphony Orchestra, accompanied by Donald Shaw and James Mackintosh.ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý
