±«Óãtv NOW’s Principal Guest Conductor Xian Zhang hand-picks two of Beethoven’s less frequently performed symphonies for a special performance in Bangor, as part of a wider Beethoven series around Wales; pairing the unpredictability and playful humour of the second symphony, with the infectious jollity and explosive finale of the fourth.
Between the two, Tchaikovsky’s elegant and charming Variations on a Rococo Theme played by Russian cellist Alexey Stadler.
