Winner of the Elgar Society medal, Conductor Laureate Tadaaki Otaka celebrates his 30th year with ±«Óãtv NOW and his 70th birthday with an all Elgar programme at ±«Óãtv Hoddinott Hall. Opening with Cockaigne, mezzo Catherine Wyn-Rogers then joins for Sea Pictures, and the concert closes with In the South – Elgar’s evocative tone poem, set in the Italian south.
