The ±«Óãtv Philharmonic performs Shostakovich’s powerful Tenth Symphony, which is considered by many as the composer’s portrait of Stalin’s tyranny over Russia, written straight after his death in 1953.

The programme begins with one of Norway’s finest composers - Ludvig Irgens-Jensen - and his evocative Passacaglia.
