Recording tracks in Jamaica, the new album is said to be "sonically eclectic but with some epic curveballs thrown into the mix". The first single of the album, "Disparate Youth" has had massive Radio 1 support and she performed a memorable set at the Hackney Weekend with an appearance from a pantomime horse. Santigold brings some much loved tribal punk, island reggae, grime and indie rock, making a welcome return to Reading + Leeds.
