Juanjo Mena, Martin Roscoe and the ±«Óătv Philharmonic play intoxicating melodies by Britten, plus Granados and AlbĂ©niz add a drizzle of the Iberian peninsula.
Brittenâs Four Sea Interludes- considered âone of the greatest English operas ever writtenâ- gets things off to an invigorating start.
At the centre of the concert is Granadosâs Goyescas: Intermezzo â inspired on Goyaâs paintings.
The concert finishes with the Chopin and Schumann-inspired Piano Concerto by Isaac Albéniz, played by renowned pianist Martin Roscoe.
