Concert Information

There has always been a debate about whether George Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess is an opera or a musical. But who cares?

For this production, Gershwin’s epic tale is set in South Carolina in the 1930s and features a stellar line-up with Musa Ngqungwana as Porgy, Laquita Mitchell as Bess and Donovan Singletary as Crown.

Stephen Barlow conducts the ±«Óãtv Concert Orchestra as part of Grange Park Opera's second season at West Horsley Place, Surrey.
