Suggest an England track - follow-up

Wow, what a response! Thanks to everyone who suggested a piece of music to accompany an England montage.
There were some brilliant suggestions and people clearly put a lot of thought into it. It looks like you lot are as passionate about your music as you are about football!
Make sure you look out for our coverage of England v Ecuador on ±«Óãtv ONE on Sunday to see what music was used.
I’ll follow this up again next week with one of the producers who will explain what music he/she chose, and why.
And if you have any other music suggestions for any upcoming games (Togo v France anyone?), then please do let us know!

Japan versus Brazil - 'Big in Japan' by Guano Apes (I'm sure you know that Brazil are very popular in Japan)
Ukraine versus Tunisia - 'Bring Me To Life' by Evanescense (Ukraine looked dead against Spain, but they came back to life against the Saudis)
Togo versus France - 'Unfinished Sympathy' by Massive Attack (I think the lyrics really round up how the French fans must feel)

film La Haine (1995). It sort of suits the mayhem that surrounds the French national team at the moment. Check it out!

A few years back the ±«Óãtv did a montage set to You Got the Love by The Source ft. Candi Staton.
It made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. Could be time for a revisit given it's re-release???

Paul, it is a great decision to take the suggestion of the fans seriously and to give the matches extra dimension through music. Music has something that can make something more passionate. It will be very nice if ±«Óãtv make some music based on the suggestion of the fans and I hope ±«Óãtv will keep us with the world cup.

For France against Togo "Too Young" for the sake or irony if Les Bleues go out. If they are improved Daft Punk's "Hard, Faster, Better, Stronger" would be a great montage track and they are french (as are Phoenix)

I noticed that MS Solaar was used to good effect on the recent "World Cup Stories" which focused on the French national side on ±«Óãtv 2 a few weeks back. All that would be needed in the france v. togo match is an Henry wondergoal and a Vieira red card for "La belle et le bad boy" to work an absolute treat...

You should use an instrumental version of 'Kick Push' by Lupe Fiasco. It sort of sounds like when you used '1980' by Estelle a few years back. We all loved that track.
