Sun, sea and snorkels

Another fantastic day's weather. It's clear the ±«Óãtv Religious Department has a hot line upstairs ;0)

Leaving the hotel, which was excellent & very relaxing, and onward to a different bit of West Wales - St Bride's Haven.

Once again - stunning - more blue sea - more blue sky and yet again that orange thing in the sky :0)

The task = the water. DA DAAHH! My Achilles heel, I swim like a brick - width, maybe a length, but that is it.

Not only is this water, this is THE SEA.

But I work on the basis of throw yourself in. So I did - literally.

Even Kate was keen, but still managed a selection of moans & complaints especially about the wetsuit crotch. At one point I had to walk away & count to 10 to stop me being unhelpful BIG TIME but Kate got in the swing of it - or is it in the swim of it :0)

Now my man boobs & me in Speedos with those oh-so-white legs is something I can only apologise for, if it gets on the show. But at least with my bulk I managed to stay warm throughout.

I had a moment or two of blind panic as I struggled with flippers & floating upright, but our teachers were excellent & as soon as I was sure the wetsuit would always keep my bulk afloat IT WAS PURE JOY - even though this was soooo 'not in my nature'.

I saw crabs, fish and other marine life and of course Iolo's spider crabs. Our experts told me this was the best & clearest day in the water all year - this task was such a joy.

Bring on North Wales next week
