Welsh West End stars line up for charity concert

Welsh stars of musical theatre including Over The Rainbow finalist Sophie Evans will join together for a charity concert at in July.

on Sunday 18 July is part of the programme of events, and is in aid of .

The trust, formed following the death of theatrical director and youth opera opatron Elizabeth Evans, awards scholarships to young people who wish to pursue a professional career in the performing arts.

Stars lined up for the open-air concert include Evans and another former contestant of a ±«Óãtv One show, Sarah Lark. Cardiff-born Lark took part in I'd Do Anything in 2008, in Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber's quest to find a Nancy for his production of Oliver!

She has most recently starred in Cameron Mackintosh's revival production of Oliver! at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, London as part of the ensemble.

Carmarthen-born classical star Mark Evans is also set to appear, along with Christopher Jacobsen and Karen Evans.
