Just wanted to say that I support everything Hugh Grant said to PM's privacy commssion. (I am no relation) The difficulty would be drafting the legislation. Ha sanybody got any good ideas?

J Grant: I mostly agree, with a few caveats. There is a case where someone's private actions may be deemed in the Public Interest. An example would be where a persons' fame/celebrity comes from expousing or promoting certain stand or point of view (such as the overall sanctity of marriage, the nuclear family, etc), whilst in their private life they practice the complete opposite (serial adultary would be the corollaly). How many times have we seen politicians or religious leaders making pronouncements about things like this, only for them to be shown up as hypocites?
