The new Shooting Stars teamThat's right! Shooting Stars is back for a whole new series!

If you're looking at the picture above and wondering who that confused-looking guy with the tie is - that's Angelos, burger-van owner and new addition to the team. You can find out all about him here on the blog in this interview he did with Matt Lucas.

We'll also be bringing you a look behind the scenes at Shooting Stars each week, starting with this from the making of the first show. Just what will guest DJ Ironik make of it all?

I've never really understoon WHY this show only ever ran 30 minuets..
I think this could have greater appeal streched to 45 minuets.
That said , its great to see Vic and Bob back re-inventing this great idea , and binging to a new audiance for those too young to remember the mid 1990's..
As irrelavat as ever , always a pleasure to see celebs doing the "bizzare" and refreshing next to pradictable sit-coms and game-shows alike.
just a real shame its edited to the hilted time slot , and the chosen time slot being an even stupider 10 PM ...thank heavens for the i-player as this will be very easy to miss...
I guessing this has been reserected with a possible live "tour" in mind for the boys (and girl) in the near future , having seen them do it live before. What ever , I hope this will be the first of a few possible series as it always cheers when ever its shown !
    Welcome back !!

I suppose the lack of plaudits says it all.
What a load of rubbish. Why on earth did the ±«Óãtv buy in Reeves, Mortimer and Ulreeka, yet again, when the other series are well out of date?
Yuk and not remotely funny. Surely we have moved on. What the hell is the Baby Gro Kid doing back there?
    Sad.
Well sad, and truly pissed off.

susieb... 'truly pissed off'? Seriously? Why?

That's the wonderful thing about television - there's plenty of other things to watch, there's even an off button! Use it if you don't like Shooting Stars.

Personally, I and the countless other people who are intelligent enough to 'get' Shooting Stars have been enthralled by the show's return.

If you don't feel the same, just ignore it. It really is that simple.

    Some people... *shakes head ruefully*

Let NO ONE dis Vic N Bob - you either get it or you don't, if you don't then you lack something and should be kept away from society.

lol I love how they've gone over the top of ironik's rap. And so funny they told him to bring along a mascot - either noel fielding did it as well just for the hell of it, or they played the same trick on him too.

only 6 episodes though!!! ridiculous! you load of absolute rotters bbc! I've sent numerous correspondance about this but I'll say it here as well; do more and more frequent series of shooting stars, and let me write abit for it - I need my green card.

I think the ±«Óãtv is so dinosaur like nowadays they looked at shooting stars (which should never have gone off air!) as a gamble. Theefore theshow probably had a low budget, it only ran for 6 episodes and each was 30 mins each!!! - hopefully they'll do an xmas and new year speical!
