a) No it isn't, unless James first got together in the deep South of America in the mid-'50s, fusing rhythm & blues with bluegrass and country, and then acting as a catalyst to an entire generation of post-war disaffected teens, mobilising them into openly rebelling against the values of their parents. Was that James? I don't believe so.
b) It's rock 'n' roll. Calling it rock and roll misses the point somewhat.
c) A bit later on in the press release, the band's album 'Laid' is referred to as "seminal". ICK!

of course "laid" is seminal, it contains the line "she only comes when she's on top"...
surely this press release should read:
