The Avril Lavigne Story...
Once upon a time there was a lady called Avril, and she was a singer. As a singer, it was her job to try and bring the worlds of pop and punk rock a little closer together, and foster feelings of belonging and enjoyment in as wide a variety of young people as possible. She had a song about things which are Complicated, she had a song about dyslexia in young male skateboarders (or something), and everyone was very happy indeed.
Then she went away, and now she's back, and she's got a song about a 'Girlfriend' and it's probably better than any music has ever been ever. And to show it off, she's playing a concert for the Radio 1 Chart Show this Sunday. We've been running a big competition to find two Avril lookalikes to come along and see the show, and after HOURS of hot debate, we've picked the winners...
The first winner is Amy Holder, and this is why...
I spoke to Amy this afternoon, and I can reveal those heels are not her favourite thing in the world...
The second winner is Paige Wilson. And she ROCKS! LIKE THIS!
And I spoke to Paige's mother - a fact I'm sure Paige is going to be very pleased about - and it turns out this shot was a hell of a lot of extremely hard work. Paid off though, didn't it?
So, between now and the Chart Show on Sunday (4pm, but you already knew that, right?) there's only a few things we can do to build up to what is surely going to be the Comeback Of The Year...

Navigating from the OCR schools exam board (addressee Gareth Edwards) 14/3/2007, "lost radio contact" was mentioned, as was Pursley Road, London NW7, there maybe a "fix" here, (and a "con") as there is a Canada Villa Youth Centre in this road, it is adjacent to Page Street at one end, and the Pursley Road continuation (Sanders Lane & Devonshire Rd) is adjacent to Holders Hill Road at the other, the B552 continuation of which ie. Bittacy Hill has the "No Through" Vineyard Avenue leading from it. Radio won, because too much telly could be bad for your eyes, M Fraser who seems to have written the piece says of the latest video "Watch 'Girlfriend' over and over again until our eyes fall off.." and TV sets did have vertical & horizontal holds to adjust VHF and UHF pictures.
That's right "U suck". nb. this last line is the only thing printable for a rubbishy blog.

I do not want to give anyone the wrong impression and was only agreeing with the "suck" comment you had yourself written. This "fix" and this "con", is possibly not quite the same as the recent Blue Peter ±«Óãtv TV programme competition fix reported last week. There is some intelligence to this, unless it can be seen on further reading that there is anything similar.
I only read your blog page early this morning, so I will not be going down to Delaware Road in Maida Vale to blag my way in. But law as in law courts was recently mentioned to OCR, and there is a question of its actual administration from top to bot, as you see the "law" syllable in Delaware. Flaw could be involved.
As for Avril, there is no comment from me as to how good or bad her music and/or videos are.
Anyway any point of view I have in this regard should make no difference to anyone else, but the word "bad" to date can just about be ruled out.
