This groundbreaking documentary uses real and uncensored footage shot by soldiers themselves during the ten years of war in Afghanistan. For the first time, the Ministry of Defence has given the ±«Óãtv access to the stories filmed using personal cameras, mobile phones and helmet cameras to offer a unique perspective on the terrifying and emotional realities of the war.
Through the soldiers eyes we see the courage, fear and camaraderie of the men on patrol and witness how they use black humour to cope. Watch this to find out why the soldiers wanted to film their lives on the frontline and what they learnt about the war and themselves:
