Manic Street Preachers ±«Óătvcoming

Ìę

In a special gig for Radio 2 In Concert, the Manics return home to perform at the Blackwood Miners Institute in Wales, with new and classic tracks, plus footage of the band in their hometown with Jo Whiley.

Nicky Wire from Manic Street Preachers says:
"It has been nearly 25 years since we have played in our home town of Blackwood. We are thrilled and excited to be returning to a venue where we have spent many hours honing our snooker skills but this was before it became a live venue. It will be the smallest gig that we have played in a long time which will no doubt lead to chaos, severe nerves but hopefully a night of home town ecstasy.”

If Im always having a time to follow all those schedules, i would! cause it's exciting...^_*

  • Comment number 2.

I'm not sure who is responsible for it but I think the way the listings are done on the ±«Óătv Red Button text service for "Sport on ±«Óătv TV" are a bit confusing when it comes to Freeview.

Obviously additional streams not available on Freeview need to be highlighted, but every show broadcast on ±«Óătv1/±«Óătv2 is listed as, for example:

"Match of the Day 2230-2345 ±«Óătv1/±«Óătv Red Button* (*Not on Freeview)".

Now although of course you are referring to it not being available via the Red Button on Freeview (i.e. as part of the Sport Multiscreen as it is on Sky/Freesat), clearly the programme is actually available on Freeview - and technically actually also through the red button as most sports programmes on air are usually listed on the Sport ±«Óătv page.

Now, it's only a minor thing but I think it would be clearer if the guide "Not on Freeview" when talking about additional interactive streams, rather than programmes which will actually be on ±«Óătv1/2, and hence on Freeview.
