Coin combinations that make 10p (no narration)
Description
Several coin values are shown before they morph into different combinations of coins which make up the same value, helping children recognise the value of each coin and understand how coins represent value.
Classroom Ideas
Coin values could be given to students and the clip could be paused before each ‘morph’ to allow time to work out the values. Students could be challenged to work in pairs to find as many coin combinations as possible for another given amount, such as 20p.
