Coordinates in 4 quadrants

Coordinates are the numbers used to represent a specific point on a graph. They are written as \(\text{(x,~y)}\) where the first number represents the position left or right on the \(\text{x}\)-axis, and the second number represents the position up or down on the \(\text{y}\)-axis.

Example

A scatter graph with point x2,y1 marked as P.

The point P has coordinates \(\text{(2,~1)}\) because it has moved 2 to the right and 1 up.

Which point has coordinates \(\text{(-3,~4)}\) in the next graph? Remember to go left or right for the first number, then up or down for the second.

A scatter graph with points marked as E, H, I, J, K, N, O, R, S, V.

The point at \(\text{(-3,~4)}\) is N.

Question

Using the graph above, what word do these coordinates spell out?

\(\text{(-2,~0)}\), \(\text{(2,~7)}\), \(\text{(-7,~-5)}\), \(\text{(-3,~4)}\), \(\text{(-5,~-7)}\)
