Individual presentation – WJECOrganising your ideas
Being able to deliver a presentation confidently involves a lot of preparation beforehand. To make a good impression, you should plan, research, organise and practise your presentation.
When you have organised your ideas, you can then start writing your presentation if you wish, using a variety of language patterns, some of which we’ll run though in the rest of this guide.
You will then be able to summarise the content into a series of bullet points that will help you remember what you are going to say during the presentation. Don’t write too many notes and don’t write sentences, eg GCSE students shouldn’t write more than 30 words!
You should also prepare any resources you need. If you are going to use PowerPoint, prepare the slides etc.
