Son of God

Matthew uses the title Son of God to describe Jesus.

He used the title at Jesus’ baptism and his transfiguration. On both occasions there is interaction between God the Father and his Son.

Jesus does not use the title to describe himself. His preferred title is Son of Man.

Many Christians use the title Son of God today.
