Chairman's letter to S4C Chairman

The ±«Óătv Trust has today published a letter from ±«Óătv Trust Chairman Lord Patten to S4C Chairman Huw Jones.
The letter sets out the proposed allocation the ±«Óătv Trust will make from the licence fee towards S4C for the last two years of the current ±«Óătv licence fee settlement. For 2015/16 this will be ÂŁ75.25m, and in 2016/17 ÂŁ74.5m. The amounts for 2013/14 and 2014/15 have previously been set at ÂŁ76.3m and ÂŁ76m respectively. This allocation is subject to agreement between the ±«Óătv Trust, S4C and the UK Government on arrangements for the future governance and accountability of S4C.
