Greatest piece of dad advice you’ve been given?

"Probably from one of my residents at work (I'm a care worker) who has had children. He said: 'Keep yourself busy physically and mentally you never know when your partner will need help with your baby. You need to be ready 24/7'."

Best thing about being a dad?

"The playtime. It's so fun to go and get muddy or covered in paint; it's like having a second childhood, which is amazing."

Describe fatherhood in three words?

"Emotional, exciting, amazing."

One thing you didn’t think you’d do as a dad (but now do).

"I have turned my work bag into a multi-functional one. The amount of times I've gone into my bag to grab a snack and instead grab a nappy or baby wipes."

Best skill you’ve developed as a dad?

"Probably being a chef. My son loves to eat the weird wacky meals I make and doesn't like mummy's normal meals."

Which TV/movie dad are you?

"I have always been similar to Hal Wilkerson the dad of Malcolm in the Middle. He is a fun and overactive dad that plays and winds up his kids and doesn't have the strongest serious side."
