Dion Charles leads the Stanley scoring charts after netting his third of the season at Swindon

In-form Accrington cruised to a fifth league win in seven as John Sheridan tasted heavy defeat in his second game as Swindon boss.

The game was rearranged from last month when positive coronavirus tests at both clubs postponed the original fixture.

The Robins, who had marked Sheridan's debut with a battling 3-3 draw, began disastrously when goalkeeper Joe Fryer slipped as he attempted to clear Odimayo's back pass and the ball trickled into the net.

Stanley's second also had a touch of fortune as Matt Butcher's miscued shot fell kindly for Colby Bishop to head over Fryer.

Fryer did well to deny Butcher, but the visitors had a third before half-time when Dion Charles tapped home Joe Pritchard's cross.

Fryer prevented further damage for the hosts with another save, one-on-one from Russell, while Hallam Hope skewed wide from close range for Town who dropped into the relegation places with a sixth defeat in their last eight.
