±«Óãtv Radio 3’s Friday Night is Music Night is all about melody and tonight at Fairfield Halls conductor Helen Harrison and the ±«Óãtv Concert Orchestra have their feet planted in the streets and fields of British folksong. All the music has one thing in common – you can’t help humming those tunes!ÌýÌý

Two of the ±«Óãtv Concert Orchestra'sÌýbrightest stars Ileana Ruhemann and Anne Denholm play ²Ñ´Ç³ú²¹°ù³Ù’s enchanting Flute and Harp Concerto. There’ll be tuneful delights by Ruth Gipps, Hoagy Carmichael and John Williams, too - presented with style (and a smile) by jazz legend Clare Teal.Ìý

How to be in the audience

Step 1: Apply for tickets

Tickets for this show are being allocated on a first-come first-served basis, so when we receive your ticket request your details are added to the list of applicants. Tickets are usually dispatched from approximately three weeks ahead of the recording date.

Step 2: Receive a message

All eligible requests are allocated tickets in the order they are received, up to the maximum number of available tickets. If successful, we notify you by text message andÌýsendÌýyour e-ticket(s) to your email address. If unsuccessful you will be kept on the waiting list in case anyone cancels their tickets.

Step 3: Bring your tickets and ID

We do our best to get the numbers right, but unfortunately we occasionally have to disappoint people. Remember that every guest must bring original approved photo ID.
