Last week the Data Team teamed up with Mathieu and Andrew to explore ideas around timelines for news. This was for a hackweek that also involved folks from News Labs and ±«Óãtv News Editorial and Product, and the work explored different ways to segment and present news stories over time.

Chris has also deployed a Farsi version of our Starfruit tagging system for evaluation purposes and Andrew McParland attended the first Advisory Board meeting of the Visual AI EPSRC-funded project looking at next generation computer vision methods.

Mathieu and Andrew spent some time working on new sets of wireframes using the Social Interaction Toolkit, trying to see if it could scale to concepts for larger groups of people. Libby and Henry have been running "Futures" workshops with Human Values and Audio teams, with several of us helping out. Libby's also been doing a landscape and competitor review for ±«Óãtv Together.

We've been finishing up the launch website for Better Images of AI, which included David hand-drawing some "bad" AI images (purely for illustrative purposes) and Alicia implementing some new designs

Finally, Chris Needham is organising media-related meetings at the upcoming . This includes web technologies on TV devices and real-time media processing in the browser.
